Our Directors

The Directors of LYM come from a variety of professional backgrounds, but all have a passion for supporting youth projects on the ground. Since 2006, when LYM was first formed, our Directors have worked together using each others strengths to support and encourage the vision of local youth projects. Currently our directors are:

Melanie Weatherley

Director/Company Chair

With her background in the care sector and a care home provider, Melanie has the experience and knowledge needed to overseeing the trustees  as well as the eye for detail needed in running a non-for-profit organisation.

Martin Hodgkinson

Director/Company Secretary

Martin's background is rooted in the construction industry. Joining the board in 2006, when the company was formed, he provides a wealth of experience in the voluntary sector as well as stability and experience.

Kev Smithbone

Director/Project Link Director

Kev's enormous experience in management gives the roadHoG South and North projects a head start when it comes to training, policy writing and overseeing the bus staff. He also is great hands on with meeting young people on the buses.

John Cropley

Director/Project Link Director

With nearly 40 year's experience in the coach industry, John brings a depth of experience that is vital to the safe running of any bus ministry. Providing the board with an insight that enables the trustees to foresee and provide long term sustainability.

Anne Winslade

Director

Although Anne is our most recent addition to our Directors, Anne is not new to the vision of LYM. Being very actively involved over the years with our accounts, admin and fund raising. Anne's skills in administration will enable her to take on a particular role with the re-launching of roadHoG (North).

We are currently in need of  new Treasurer and are looking to local churches for someone to take on this role,
