The Work of LYM

Thank you for showing an interest in the work of LYM  with young people in the historical county of Lincolnshire -  county of huge diversity, geography, struggling infrastructure and changing needs of young people.

About Us

Lincolnshire Youth Mission respond to the spiritual, social and developing needs of young people within our local and rural communities of Lincolnshire. We support local churches to share the love of Jesus to young people through youth projects in their villages, town and cities”

“How do we do this?

Listening to local churches on the ground and exploring ways to support them meet the needs of the young people they meet.

Our Projects

Road Hog

The roadHoG Bus Youth Project is a fully resourced double decker bus. The project not only provides a safe place for young people on the streets, but encourages and inspires young people to aim higher in life through educational activities, prayer and building appropriate relationships developed between adults and young people.

The GodPod is a single decker bus that travels around Lincoln and surrounding villages since 2006; it was initially a Lincoln Methodist initiative that aims to 'be church' wherever it stops. The bus currently goes into villages, housing estates and secondary schools, mainly but not exclusively, for children and youth work. We offer an informal opportunity for all ages to explore Christianity and Faith.
