roadHoG - The House of God on the road
Run by LYM since 2009, the House of God on the road seeks to create a safe place for young people in the streets where they live.
This 'state-of-the-art' double decker bus comes complete with a cafe serving free hot drinks, X-box, PS4 gaming area, chill out lounge, prayer room and messy area.
The local church management group are responsible for the fundraising and running of the project. LYM provide 2 link directors to support this group.
Schools Work
LYM employ a part-time youth worker to visit schools during the day. Working with young people from year 6 -8, the project seeks to inspire young people to aim higher as well as share something positive about being a follower of Jesus.
Community Work
LYM train local teams to host the bus in their community. There are currently over 80 youth workers working in the Boston area. The project provides local churches with a resource that can help them reach out and connect with young people in their area.
